Kayla Facundus was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Maryville University in 2017. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Kayla has over 17 years of nursing experience in numerous settings. Throughout her career she has always focused on patient-centered, holistic care. She thrives on developing trusting relationships with her patients, emphasizing the importance of patient satisfaction, health promotion, and wellness and disease prevention. Kayla chose family practice because she loves caring for patients of all ages with a broad range of acute and chronic illnesses. She also enjoys the bonus of often being able to provide care to entire families throughout their lifetime. Kayla enjoys spending her free time with her family and dog. She likes to travel and spend as much time outdoors hiking, beachgoing and boating, and staying physically active.
