Chris Aichele, ARNPADVANCED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER Chris Aichele, NP joined Pacific Medical Group in March 2013. He received his Nurse Practitioner degree and became board certified in 2008 and chose Family Practice because he enjoys caring for patients of all ages. He likes to get to know his patients well and develop relationships that allow him to recognize changes in their medical conditions.
Chris believes in preventative medicine and prefers to rely on lifestyle changes whenever possible, using medications to enhance these changes. He is particularly interested in hypertension and diabetes. His goal is to become a partner in his patients' health. He enjoys providing authentic healthcare with a teamwork approach and a touch of humor.
Outside of clinic life, Chris enjoys taking his two boys hiking, watching and playing soccer, reading, exploring Portland off the beaten path, and traveling.
Leslie Cody, FNPFAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER Leslie Cody, FNP joined our clinic in 2006. She completed her Masters in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Washington State University with highest honors (magna cum laude). Leslie is board certified in Family Practice, and enjoys treating the whole family, constantly expanding her experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions.
She appreciates getting to know her patients well, and managing their chronic medical problems. She likes to consider all the various aspects of her patients' health, and holistically treat as many as possible with lifestyle modifications. She is comfortable treating a wide variety of orthopedic problems, gaining much experience from personal injuries.
Leslie spends her time off working in her expansive gardens, hiking, making pottery, and crafting. She lives in the country on a small farm and raises goats, chickens, and rabbits.
Tracey Columb, MDFAMILY PRACTICE Tracey Columb, MD joined the North Portland clinic in March 2015. She received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in May 2007. Dr. Columb completed her residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN in July 2010. She became Board Certified in Family Medicine in July 2010.
Dr. Columb chose Family Practice because she enjoys taking care of the entire family and for individuals through various stages in life. She enjoys partnering with patients to encourage a healthy lifestyle and long term management of health problems along with forming meaningful relationships with her patients. Dr. Columb especially enjoys taking care of children, young adults and women but enjoys seeing a variety of individuals.
Dr. Columb likes to spend her free time outdoors, running or hiking with her husband, son, and dogs. She loves to travel and experience new cultures, especially countries where she can practice her Spanish. Dr. Columb also enjoys doing volunteer medical work abroad and has spent several months working with a volunteer group in Panama.
Janel Guyette, MDFAMILY PRACTICE Janel Guyette, MD joined the practice at North Portland in October 2014. She received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in June 1998. Dr. Guyette completed residency at Michigan State University/Sparrow Family Medicine Residency in 2002. She became Board Certified in Family Medicine June 2003.
Dr. Guyette chose Family Practice because she loves all ages – newborn through the life cycle. She is also Board Certified in Integrative Medicine and in 2002 she was published in the Clinics in Family Practice Journal. She has received training in Global Health & Tropical Medicine and has begun doing humanitarian work abroad, most recently in Haiti.
During her free time, she likes spending time with her children and their activities, attending multicultural activities, and gardening. She enjoys following Rick Steves travel blog.
Joanne Richardson, MDFAMILY PRACTICE Joanne Richardson, MD joined our practice in April 2013. She received her medical degree from the University of California Davis in June 1992. She completed her residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in 1995 and became Board Certified in Family Medicine in 1995. Dr. Richardson is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
At the conclusion of her residency, Dr. Richardson was a first time recipient of an award for creating a comprehensive program for the care of patients with Diabetes Mellitus. She used her passion for healthy living to develop and manage our Medically Supervised Weight Management Program.
Dr. Richardson enjoys cycling, gardening, weight training, walking, kayaking and other outdoor activities.
