Chris Aichele, ARNPADVANCED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER Chris joined Pacific Medical Group in March 2013. He received his Nurse Practitioner degree and became board certified in 2008 and chose Family Practice because he enjoys caring for patients of all ages. He likes to get to know his patients well and develop relationships that allow him to recognize changes in their medical conditions.
Chris believes in preventative medicine and prefers to rely on lifestyle changes whenever possible, using medications to enhance these changes. He is particularly interested in hypertension and diabetes. His goal is to become a partner in his patients' health. He enjoys providing authentic healthcare with a teamwork approach and a touch of humor.
Outside of clinic life, Chris enjoys taking his two boys hiking, watching and playing soccer, reading, exploring Portland off the beaten path, and traveling.
Simon Chan, DOFAMILY PRACTICE - DOCTOR OF OSTEOPATHY Simon Chan joined the North Portland clinic in 1994. He received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1982 and completed Family Practice residency training at Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton. He served as Medical Officer as well as Director of Family Practice residency training during the ten years he served in the US Navy.
Dr. Chan enjoys seeing a variety of patients and treating all medical issues encountered in family medicine. He also practices osteopathic manipulation and acupuncture.
He and his wife have three children. He loves to read, travel, play basketball, volleyball and tennis. Dr. Chan still serves as a captain in the Naval Reserve one weekend a month.
Leslie Cody, FNPFAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER Leslie Cody joined our North Portland clinic in December 2006. She completed her Masters in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Washington State University in May 2006 and received Magnum cum Laude. She became Board Certified in Family Practice in December 2006 because she enjoys treating the whole family and she likes the wide variety of patients and problems.
Leslie enjoys working in the garden, hiking, throwing pottery (on the wheel) and running marathons.
Tracey Columb, MDFAMILY PRACTICE Tracey Columb, MD joined the North Portland clinic in March 2015. She received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in May 2007. Dr. Columb completed her residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN in July 2010. She became Board Certified in Family Medicine in July 2010.
Dr. Columb chose Family Practice because she enjoys taking care of the entire family and for individuals through various stages in life. She enjoys partnering with patients to encourage a healthy lifestyle and long term management of health problems along with forming meaningful relationships with her patients. Dr. Columb especially enjoys taking care of children, young adults and women but enjoys seeing a variety of individuals.
Dr. Columb likes to spend her free time outdoors, running or hiking with her husband and dogs. She loves to travel and experience new cultures, especially to countries where she can practice her Spanish. Dr. Columb also enjoys doing volunteer medical work abroad and has spent several months working with a volunteer group in Panama.
Janel Guyette, MDFAMILY PRACTICE Janel Guyette, MD joined the practice at North Portland in October 2014. She received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in June 1998. Dr. Guyette completed residency at Michigan State University/Sparrow Family Medicine Residency in 2002. She became Board Certified in Family Medicine June 2003.
Dr. Guyette chose Family Practice because she loves all ages – newborn through the life cycle. She is also Board Certified in Integrative Medicine and in 2002, she was published in the Clinics in Family Practice Journal.
She likes spending time with her children and their activities and follows Rick Steves travel blog. During her free time, Dr. Guyette likes attending multicultural activities, gardening, enjoys studying integrative and anthroposophical medicine and training for her first Iron Man competition.
Joanne Richardson, MDFAMILY PRACTICE Dr. Joanne Richardson joined our practice in April 2013. She received her medical degree from the University of California Davis in June 1992. She completed her residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in 1995 and became Board Certified in Family Medicine in 1995. Dr. Richardson is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
At the conclusion of her residency, Dr. Richardson was a first time recipient of an award for creating a comprehensive program for the care of patients with Diabetes Mellitus.
Dr. Richardson enjoys cycling, gardening, weight training, walking, kayaking and other outdoor activities.
