Chris Aichele, ARNPADVANCED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER Chris Aichele joined our practice in March 2013. He received his medical degree from Washington State University in 2008. Chris became Board Certified in and chose Family Practice because he enjoys longitudinal care; really getting to know someone so that he can be in tune with changes in their medical conditions. Chris likes to focus on preventive medicine and relying on lifestyle changes versus prescription medication wherever possible/safely. He has a particular interest in hypertension and diabetes.
Chris enjoys hiking, nature walks with his two boys, reading, exploring Portland and traveling.
Simon Chan, DOFAMILY PRACTICE - DOCTOR OF OSTEOPATHY Simon Chan joined the North Portland clinic in 1994. He received his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1982 and completed Family Practice residency training at Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton. He served as Medical Officer as well as Director of Family Practice residency training during the ten years he served in the US Navy.
Dr. Chan enjoys seeing a variety of patients and treating all medical issues encountered in family medicine. He also practices osteopathic manipulation and acupuncture.
He and his wife have three children. He loves to read, travel, play basketball, volleyball and tennis. Dr. Chan still serves as a captain in the Naval Reserve one weekend a month.
Leslie Cody, FNPFAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER Leslie Cody joined our North Portland clinic in December 2006. She completed her Masters in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Washington State University in May 2006 and received Magnum cum Laude. She became Board Certified in Family Practice in December 2006 because she enjoys treating the whole family and she likes the wide variety of patients and problems.
Leslie enjoys working in the garden, hiking, throwing pottery (on the wheel) and running marathons.
Joanne Richardson, MDFAMILY PRACTICE Dr. Joanne Richardson joined our practice in April 2013. She received her medical degree from the University of California Davis in June 1992. She completed her residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in 1995 and became Board Certified in Family Medicine in 1995. Dr. Richardson is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
At the conclusion of her residency, Dr. Richardson was a first time recipient of an award for creating a comprehensive program for the care of patients with Diabetes Mellitus.
Dr. Richardson enjoys cycling, gardening, weight training, walking, kayaking and other outdoor activities.
