MLT
Summary: Needed for Moderate Complexity Physician's office lab at Oregon City. Full-time, Mon-Fri, afternoon/early evenings (1pm - 9:30 pm).

Responsibilities:
 
  • Must efficiently and accurately performs all diagnostic testing processes involved in quality patient care. This includes specimen collection, processing, test performance and reporting test results
  • Process Hematology (5-part diff), automated Chemistry analyzers, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Wet preps, KOH reads, rapid kit tests
  • Must be comfortable drawing and processing as many as 30+ patients daily
  • Handle all specimens processing accurately and timely
  • Observe and adhere to all CLIA/COLA standards and Good Laboratory Practices
  • Uphold all HIPAA confidentiality and security standards
  • Able to perform Quality Control and assist with lab equipment maintenance
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a busy, high volume reference lab environment
  • Requires 2 year associates degree in laboratory science or BS in Medical Technology (ASCP or NCA desired)
  • Proficiency with Chemistry analyzers (Beckman/Hitachi/Horiba desirable)
  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers and providers with a professional attitude and positive work ethic
  • Collaborative team player, able to work well with other and promote a respectful work environment
  • Proficient in use of computers, EMR and Windows software
  • Pre-employment drug screen background check required

Medical Assistant (Lead)
 
Great opportunity to move your career to the next level. Seeking an energetic, team-oriented, experienced CMA for our Tigard clinic. Full–time (36 - 40 hr/wk), Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation. In addition to providing support for a part-time provider, you will be working closely with the Clinic Manager to assure professional, efficient, customer-service oriented clinic operations. You will be responsible for the day to day supervision of our MA team, which includes managing schedules, monitoring workflow & performance, assessing skills, facilitating training and orientation of new MA’s, and teambuilding. 
 
Qualifications:
  • 3-6 yrs MA experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine clinic setting
  • Minimum 2-4 yrs recent lead or supervisory experience
  • Medical Assisting degree, CMA cert preferred
  • Stable work history, verifiable employment references/credentials
  • Limited X-Ray certification desirable
  • Basic phlebotomy and lab skills desirable
  • CPR certification
  • Competence in all aspects of MA clinical responsibilities
  • Ability to manage patient flow of 20 to 30 patients per day to maximize provider’s efficiency
  • Ability to coordinate patient flow for more than one provider, as needed
  • Experience with electronic medical records, as well as MS Word, Excel and Outlook; accurate typing skills
  • Command of medical terminology and common medical abbreviations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated by clear, concise and considerate verbal and written communications; successful conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a cohesive team
  • Collaborative problem solving skills; sound judgment
  • Ability to establish priorities; excellent organizational skills
  • Adaptability, flexibility, dependability, attention to detail, reliability
